He did not teach the prosperity gospel (still useful to God for His Will).

He blesses when we're so humbled that we only dare to ask for what's needed, nothing more.

Reality works just like when Solomon only asked for wisdom and knowledge to lead.

“God answered Solomon, ‘This is what has come out of your heart: You didn’t grasp for money, wealth, fame, and the doom of your enemies. You didn’t even ask for a long life. You asked for wisdom and knowledge so you could govern my people over whom I’ve made you king. Because of this, you get what you asked for—wisdom and knowledge.     He gave clear instructions that we simply didn't obey, hence we face problems.

    There are also dark forces that purposely harm us. We win by first knowing they exist to begin with, then waking up.

What is the Living Word?

When I realized what the Bible was, everything made sense immediately at the same time.

Previously, I would ask questions like:

1. Humans wrote it right? How do we reconcile this fact with the claim that it's God's Word?

2. How do we know if the Bible was perfectly preserved and not tampered with?

3. How do we know the arrangements of books are correct?

4. Which order should I read the Bible in?

When I woke up, I immediately saw that it works like this:

God ordained the Bible. It was so.

It truly is God's own Word.

The translations don't matter. His Spirit does.

The order we read the Bible in doesn't matter. Our faith does. However, reading from beginning to end serves a great purpose since it was ordered that way for a reason.

It's the written form of God, of Jesus Christ Himself, who is and always was with the Father since the beginning.

It was perfectly preserved and meant to be exactly the way it is.

It is living because it's alive, as in, it's active and not dead words from the past written by dead humans that are bound by physics, time, and space. It was written by the Living God, and it is the Living Word, Jesus Christ, who is not dead but rose from physical death when he conquered physical death, the byproduct of original sin from Adam and Eve, and the primary weapon of Satan.

The Bible transcends all human understanding. It is beyond space and time, because it came from outside of space and time, not from this world.

What this means in practice:

If someone reads it with an open mind and soft heart, regardless of the order, as long as they have a tiny ounce of faith that maybe, just maybe, this God of the Bible is real, then the Bible, even though it was written thousands of years ago, will speak to them individually, right here, right now.

It will feel like the words were spoken directly to the reader, uniquely piercing them deeply, as if the author knows them inside out, and knew exactly what is happening in their life and what they're thinking about.

That's how it works.

This is why true Christians, followers of Christ, of God, use it as a guide, an instruction manual for daily life, and return to it throughout our life on Earth.

When I face challenges at work in Instacart, I go straight to the Word and pray. Then God works and He delivers. He usually does really hilarious things like "You think I can do this? Nah, I'm gonna do THIS" and I just fall down in awe. When others need help at work that's clearly beyond what I can influence, I intercede through prayer, and Jesus Christ intercedes on my behalf with Father, and I just thank God then high five Him.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” ~ Ephesians 3:20-21

    Do not, ever, listen to voices, even if it's your own voice saying, "I'm not worthy to face God", or "I'm not good enough to face God", or "I'll wait until I work on myself first", or anything of the sort. Please. For your own sake, just do it now because He's calling and He's waiting.

    We were never designed to do life alone. It's simply not possible to properly live without being embedded in a community. This is what the Church, the body of Christ, was designed for. Community. Not mega churches (still useful).

    Find a Christian community church near you, and step into community as your Creator prepared for you.

    "Jesus said, 'The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.'" ~ Mark 2:27 (this is the verse God used to tell me to return to church in person).

    Remember, God does not care about religion, He's after your heart and love because He loves you unconditionaly and always did. He just wants to be loved back so that He can finally appear to you.

    It doesn't matter if you miss church sometimes, it matters that you go.
    It doesn't matter if you're late, it matters that you show up.

  • Full Bible Versions

    I prefer physical versions of the Bible. Since I'm a very simple person, I read The Message version, which is the Bible translated into modern language. You don't need anything fancy. God isn't fancy. Jesus was not fancy.
